The Best Baked Beans
I cannot take full credit for The Best Baked Beans recipe, as it is very similar to what my mom has made ever since I can remember.
I didn’t like beans as a kid.
But I always remember everyone asking for her tried and true recipe at parties and picnics.
As an adult I guess we all start trying new things.
Once I tried them I understood what all the fuss was about!
They really are the BEST ever!
How to make The Best Baked Beans
Any dish that starts with bacon has to be the best, right?!
I cut 8 slices of bacon with my kitchen scissors directly into a skillet over medium heat.
Once the bacon is cooked I remove it from the pan and place on some paper towels.

You’ll want to remove some of the bacon grease from the pan.
Leave just enough to cook the onions in the same skillet.
So far we have bacon, and then onions cooked in bacon grease…YUM!

Pour 3 of the big cans of Bush’s baked beans into a 9 x 13 pan.
Add the bacon, onions, BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce in with the beans.

Stir everything together into one happy dish of deliciousness and into a 400 degree oven they go for about 40-45 minutes.

This obviously feeds a large crowd.
But if you’re lucky enough to have leftovers of The Best Baked Beans they are even better the next day in my opinion.
