You’ll see how I got the idea for this make your own wrap station.
My plan was to make Turkey Avocado and Bacon wraps, but my plan changed when I heard…
“Can I have mine in the panini maker?”
“Could I have mine on bread instead of a tortilla?”
“Can I have mine with no carrots?”
And “Can I have mine with…..”
You get the idea.
Preparing the Make Your Own Wrap Station
That’s when I put all the ingredients on a tray with parchment paper (for easy clean up, of course), along with tortillas and bread, and told everyone to make their own wrap.
This mom is not a short order cook!
My family was excited about the make your own wrap station!
Well, what happened next was kind of magical.
I watched as each assembled their own creation, there was laughing and happiness, and I was feeling more like a genius instead of being annoyed (which is kind of how this started).
My 6 year old got a little fancy with his creation! (I swear I did not help him at all, this is seriously all him)
Everyone made their own personalized dinner and all I had to do was throw some ingredients on a tray!
My daughter made a grilled wrap, husband had turkey, bacon, ranch, avocado, and ranch on rye bread in the panini maker, and I had mine in a wrap.
These are our creations…
This was mine, as my original idea.
The ranch is a simple, homemade Healthy Ranch Dressing that’s low calorie and way more tasty than bottled ranch.
Leftover turkey from the make your own wrap station?
Here is a meal prep idea!
Fill cupcake liners with fruit and leftover dinner items.
Add some crackers to create an adult lunchable.
Mine was strawberries, blueberries, bacon, turkey slices, rice cake crackers, and avocado in a container.
I squeezed a little lime over the avocado to prevent browning.
Possibilities are endless so get as creative as you like with your own ingredients.
