Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken Tortellini Soup
Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken Tortellini Soup is a soup version of the viral recipe with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and pasta in the slow cooker!
This is not one of those dump and go Crock Pot recipes, we do need to add some yumminess toward the end and let it finish cooking.
But it’s still a super easy and delish slow cooker comfort food recipe.
How to make Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken Tortellini Soup
First, put a pound of chicken, a diced onion, plenty of minced garlic, chicken broth, Better than Bouillion chicken base, kosher salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in your Crock Pot/ slow cooker.
You could do this the night before, place the Crock Pot insert in the fridge overnight, and transfer it in the morning to turn on.

Turn it on low for 6 to 7 hours.
We will call this Phase One.

After Phase One, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the slow cooker.

Phase Two starts with adding a 20-ounce bag of frozen cheese tortellini that has been thawed.
Then some fresh chopped spinach, sun dried tomatoes, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese.
Stir and turn the heat up to high for another hour.

Taste for seasoning and add more Better than Bouillion, kosher salt, pepper, and/or Italian seasoning if needed.

Serve Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken Tortellini Soup topped with fresh basil and parmesan cheese 🙂
We also made some toasty French bread to dunk and enjoy with this insanely amazing soup!
