Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu
This dinner recipe for Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu is the easiest, most simple version of this dish I have ever made!
I even made this with my granddaughter, like she cooked right along side of me for her mommy and daddy while I made some for us.
So if I can make this, while helping a toddler make this… surely anyone can do it 🙂
How to make Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu
First grease a 9×13 casserole dish, or we split this in half into two smaller dishes.
One for her mommy and daddy, and one for us.
Add 4 to 6 thin cut chicken breasts and season with kosher salt, pepper, and a seasoning blend of choice.
Top each chicken breast with a few slices of deli ham.
And some Swiss cheese… cheese is her favorite!!
One to two slices depending on your cheese preference and how big your chicken is.
The sauce is a mixture of cream of chicken soup, Dijon mustard, and sour cream.
Spread some evenly over each chicken breast.
Sprinkle some dry stuffing mix over top along with a drizzle of melted butter, more kosher salt, and pepper and we are ready for the oven.
She was SOOOOO proud of her dinner!!
Bake in a 375 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes and we are ready to eat.
Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu might be my new favorite chicken recipe!
Sooooo easy and extra tasty!
