Parmesan Crab Toast
Parmesan Crab Toast is a pretty fancy and impressive seafood appetizer recipe, perfect to serve at any party, holiday, or celebration.
But also pretty amazing to just have with close friends at a game party or movie night in.
Heck, you could even serve them as dinner with a side salad!
They are best served warm from the oven, but you can make them ahead of time and bake right before serving.
How to make Parmesan Crab Toast
Making the crab spread is very simple.
Start by putting an 8 ounce block of cream cheese, at room temperature, into a bowl along with 8 ounces of fresh crab.
Then add a cup of shredded parmesan and Old Bay seasoning.
Depending on spice preference, add 3/4 to 1 tablespoon.
No need for salt because the Old Bay has ya covered with all the seasoning needed.
Finally add a tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and fresh thyme.
Just mix it all together until combined.
Then slice a loaf of French bread into about 18 to 22 slices, this works best using a sharp, serrated bread knife.
Lay the bread slices on a baking sheet and top each with the crab mixture.
Sprinkle more parmesan over top and place into a 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Garnish with fresh thyme and Parmesan Crab Toasts are ready to be served warm 🙂
Gotta love individual party appetizers that are hand held and full of yumminess!
