How to make Baked Parmesan Chicken Tenders
First cut 2 pounds of chicken breasts into strips, or use the chicken tenderloins.
Then crack 2 eggs in a bowl and beat with a fork.
In another bowl mix together some shredded parmesan, panko bread crumbs, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Then set up a breading station next to a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet.
This will make them extra crisp, but if you don’t have the wire rack just lay them on a lined baking sheet.
A little more kosher salt and pepper over top and then into a 400 degree oven they go.
They will only take 25 to 30 minutes to cook.
Baked Parmesan Chicken Tenders are sure to be a hit at dinner with the whole fam 🙂
Dip them in ranch, honey mustard, buffalo sauce, or whatever dipping sauce your heart desires.
So crisp and much healthier than frying them.
Kind of like a restaurant meal at home without the processed food and extra grease.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 1/4 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- kosher salt, pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
- dipping sauce of choice
Instructions
-
Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat with a fork. Put the panko, parmesan, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in another bowl, mix together until combined.

Dip each chicken strip into the egg and then into the parmesan panko mixture, pressing so it sticks to the chicken (do this quickly so the breading in the bowl doesn't get soggy).

Place them on a wire rack over a lined baking sheet (or just on a baking sheet if you don't have a wire rack). Sprinkle a little more kosher salt and pepper over top.
-
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with dipping sauce of choice.
