Air Fryer Crab Fritters
These air fryer crab fritters make for the most adorable appetizer recipe, or we had them as part of our snacky snack dinner last week!
And in case you’re wondering… a snacky snack dinner is the official term for a meal consisting of several smaller snacks and appetizers.
They are always one of our favorite meals, and these crab fritters were a favorite this particular day.
How to make air fryer crab fritters
First set a skillet over medium heat.
And once hot add some olive oil, a diced onion, a diced red bell pepper, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Let that cook for a few minutes then add some garlic, lemon juice, and old Bay seasoning.
Cook for another minute and then let this mixture cool before adding 12 ounces of jumbo lump crab meat.
And a cup of panko bread crumbs, and two eggs.
Combine the crab fritter mixture with your hands and let it sit for a few minutes.
Then roll into 24 balls and place into the air fryer basket.
Sprinkle some more old Bay seasoning over top.
And then set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.
Once the crab fritters are nice and golden brown on the outside we are ready to serve them!
We had our air fryer crab fritters with homemade old Bay aioli!
Simply mix together mayonnaise, siracha, lemon juice, garlic, and old bay seasoning.
Some lemon wedges to squeeze ever top would be awesome as well.
YUM!
