Pork Burgers with Apple and Gouda

Pork Burgers with Apple and Gouda

These Pork Burgers with Apple and Gouda were a great way to mix up burger recipe night at our house.

I love trying new burger ideas, especially when cooking on my Blackstone Griddle!

Whenever I think pork, naturally apples come to mind because they go so well together.

And whenever I think apples, for some reason gouda cheese pops in my head.

Put all three together and you have a magical trio of flavors đŸ™‚

How to Make Pork Burgers with Apple and Gouda

A pound of ground pork, soy sauce, garlic paste, and Caribbean Jerk seasoning is all you need for the burger patties.

It was my husband’s idea to use the Caribbean Jerk seasoning because it has some cinnamon and allspice flavors that pair well with the apples.

Great idea, babe!

Cooking options here are in a large skillet, or if you have an outdoor griddle/ flat top grill you could use that.

That’s the option I went for, the Blackstone griddle.

Preheat either the griddle or skillet to medium heat, add some cooking oil and the patties.

You could toast the burger buns as well for a little crisp and to warm them up.

We kept it simple with just some BBQ sauce and lettuce.
