These Grilled Margarita Shrimp Kabobs were actually our poolside snack yesterday, but they would be a fabulous dinner as well.

My daughter and her friends came over for a fun day in the sun.

What’s more fun than shrimp that has been marinated in tequila, right?!

This is the perfect summer dish to enjoy poolside.

Light, refreshing flavors, and what goes better with summer than margaritas?!

Here is how to make Grilled Margarita Shrimp Kabobs

This is a pound of jumbo shrimp that I peeled and deveined.

Then marinated in a mixture of tequila, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, and honey.

Oh, and a pinch of ground red pepper for a slight kick.

Put the shrimp in a gallon size plastic bag with half of this mixture to marinate for 30 minutes, and save the other half to brush over the shrimp as they grill.

Then put them on four kabob skewers and head out to the grill 🙂

Brush them a few times as they grill with the remaining tequila mixture.

They only take 2 1/2 to 3 minutes per side on a medium high grill.

Serve Grilled Margarita Shrimp Kabobs with this easy and delicious Old Bay Aioli for dipping.

It’s a mixture of mayo, garlic, lime juice, and Old Bay seasoning.

It’s the perfect dip for these phenomenal shrimp kabobs!

Old Bay and shrimp pair perfectly together!

Plus everything is better with a sauce 🙂
