Air Fryer Honey Sriracha Chicken
This recipe for Air Fryer Honey Sriracha Chicken bites are just like me…a little sweet, and a little spicy 😉
Lightly floured pieces of chicken cooked to crispy yumminess in the air fryer, then tossed in a honey Sriracha sauce.
They are perfect to enjoy as boneless wings dipped in ranch.
Or served over fried rice with even more of the sauce drizzled over top.
How to make Air Fryer Honey Sriracha Chicken
You’ll want to set up your breading station just like this next to the air fryer.
I have a pound and a half of chicken cut into inch size pieces.
Also a bowl with flour and another bowl with a beaten egg.
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then into the flour, and right into the air fryer basket.
Not much room to spare, but they all fit!
Spray with olive oil cooking spray over the top.
Then set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
And give the basket a good shake halfway through cooking.
While the chicken was air frying away, I made the honey Sriracha sauce.
I mixed mine right in a plastic container with a lid.
That way I can add the chicken and shake with the lid on to evenly coat the chicken with the sauce.
The sauce is 2/3 cup honey, 3 Tbsps Sriracha, and 2 tsps soy sauce.
You could use less Sriracha if you don’t like a huge amount of spice.
The chicken comes out crispy and golden brown…yum!
Just throw the chicken right into the container with the sauce, put the lid on, and shake, shake, shake 🙂
Once the chicken is all coated in the sauce, you are ready to enjoy!
We had our Air Fryer Honey Sriracha Chicken dipped in ranch.
My daughter microwave a container of PF Chang’s frozen fried rice and had hers with the rice.
Both ways were amazing!
The sauce is on the thin side, so I made the recipe amounts to have some leftover sauce to drizzle more over the chicken.
