Bang Bang Salmon Tacos
Bang Bang Salmon Tacos are my newest recipe creation using this sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce.
I’ve become slightly addicted to Bang Bang sauce, and I’m perfectly okay with that.
I feel like I need to step up my taco game from this point forward because these were indescribably delicious.
How to Make Bang Bang Salmon Tacos
The Bang Bang sauce is very easy to make with only three ingredients.
Whisk together mayo (or light mayo), sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha.
Boom…now you have Bang Bang sauce 🙂

Brush some of the sauce over a pound of salmon that’s been cut into two fillets.

Then cook the salmon either in the air fryer like I did, or in the oven.
Both cooking methods require the same time and temp, 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

You could devour this salmon just like this over rice or cauliflower rice, which I have done several times with the remaining sauce on the side.
Or proceed and make the tacos.

Street taco size tortillas are my favorite when it comes to tacos.
To make these simply flake some salmon with a fork and place in the tortillas.

Then add Bang Bang sauce and top with shredded cabbage and carrots.
I used a bag of broccoli slaw instead of shredding my own.
The slaw gives these Bang Bang Salmon Tacos a nice crunch.
A perfect and easy dinner that I’m sure will become one of your new favorites like it has for us 🙂

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayo or light mayo
- 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
- 2 Tbsps Sriracha (more or less according to spice preference)
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1 pound salmon cut into 2 fillets
- 8 street taco size soft tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage and carrots (I used a bag of broccoli slaw from the store)
Instructions
-
In a small bowl whisk together the mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the Bang Bang Sauce.
-
Brush some of this mixture onto the salmon. Sprinkle salmon with kosher salt and pepper.
-
Cook the salmon according to one of these methods:
In the oven: Place the salmon skin side down onto a lined baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
In the air fryer: Place the salmon in the air fryer basket skin side down. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
-
Flake the salmon with a fork and put in the street taco size tortillas. Top with more Bang Bang Sauce and shredded cabbage and carrots (or broccoli slaw).
