Air Fryer Cajun Lime Chicken Thighs is one of the most simple and delicious meals ever 🙂
Chicken thighs are for sure my favorite cut of chicken.
They are juicier, less expensive, and waaayyy less likely to dry out compared to chicken breasts.
Now that I’ve started making chicken thighs in my air fryer I may never turn back from cooking them any other way.
Sometimes we need these super easy dinners in our lives, right?!
How to Make Air Fryer Cajun Lime Chicken Thighs
The chicken thighs may or may not need some of the fat trimmed off.
Mine did and I used kitchen scissors to trim them, a little trick that I love is using my kitchen scissors for this task.
Then they go into a gallon size plastic baggie.
Right into the bag add some olive oil, freshly squeezed lime juice, your favorite cajun seasoning, garlic, kosher salt, and pepper.

The amount of salt you use will depend on how much salt is already in your cajun seasoning, so check that first to avoid over salting them.
Then massage the bag until evenly mixed and marinate for an hour, or even overnight.
Next lay the thighs in a single layer in your air fryer basket and sprinkle with more cajun seasoning.
Set it to 370 degrees for 18 minutes.


Yes, it’s seriously THAT simple 🙂 No need to flip or anything.
To serve Air Fryer Cajun Lime Chicken Thighs squeeze a little extra lime juice over top.
I served this with a box of Velveeta Shells and Cheese (remember I said simple was the goal with this dinner 😉 ), and the family highly approved!

Air Fryer Cajun Lime Chicken Thighs
Air Fryer Cajun Lime Chicken Thighs have a simple seasoning that brings big flavor, they are cooked to juicy perfection in the air fryer!
Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 Tbsps lime juice
- 2 Tbsps cajun seasoning (plus more to sprinkle over top)
- 1 1/2 Tbsps olive oil
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- kosher salt, pepper
- extra lime wedges to squeeze over top
Instructions

Trim extra fat from boneless, skinless chicken thighs.

Place the chicken in a gallon size plastic bag. Add the lime juice, cajun seasoning, olive oil garlic, kosher salt, and pepper. Massage the bag until the chicken is evenly coated. Let marinate 1 hour or overnight.

Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Sprinkle more cajun seasoning over top. Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 18 minutes.

Squeeze extra lime juice over top and serve.
