Smoked Shrimp with Thai Peanut Sauce
Smoked Shrimp with Thai Peanut Sauce is the perfect example of just how lucky my husband is!
Once upon a time my husband brought home a Traeger smoker/ pellet grill and the Traeger and I lived happily ever after 🙂
Seriously the greatest love story ever told…me and my Traeger!
Before you go feeling sorry for my left out husband, don’t, he eats very well thanks to this relationship 😉
How to Make Smoked Shrimp with Peanut Sauce
This Thai Peanut Sauce is admittedly not traditional or authentic, but it is easy and delicious.
Simply peanut butter, soy sauce, sweet Thai chili sauce, lime, ginger paste, and garlic paste whisked together.
Now you’re going to have to trust me, it takes at least a minute or two to come together.
Just keep whisking…just keep whisking…
The shrimp marinade is soy sauce, lime juice, ginger paste, and garlic paste.
I go with the paste because it’s smooth and sticks to the shrimp better than minced garlic and ginger.
The shrimp smokes at 225 for 30 to 40 minutes with the Signature Blend pellets (if using a Traeger).
Serve with the Smoked Shrimp with Thai Peanut Sauce and prepare to be taken away by the combo of sweet, spicy, salty, and smoky flavors!
