Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bowls
I made a little lunch recipe for two on my Blackstone E-series Indoor Griddle… beautiful and delicious Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bowls!
You could easily make these in a skillet or on your outdoor Blackstone griddle as well.
I really wanted to use my new Blackstone Sweet Teriyaki seasoning blend, although you can totally make this dish if you don’t have the seasoning.

How to make Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bowls
First pat a half pound of jumbo shrimp dry and put them in a bowl.
Add some teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and the Sweet Teriyaki seasoning if you have it.

Toss until combined as your skillet or griddle warms up to medium heat.

Add some cooking oil of choice and the shrimp with all the yummy goodness.

The shrimp will cook quickly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
You can microwave some Jasmine rice pouches or add them to the griddle if that’s what you’re cooking on.
The rice will need a little water and break it apart with spatulas a few times.

Soooooo yummy and quick as this took less than 5 minutes!

Serve with the rice down first and then the teriyaki shrimp.

And add a few toppings such as sliced avocado, fresh cilantro, and a lime wedge.
Plus sauces, I went with a mix of yum yum sauce and sriracha… but more teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo would be so good too!

Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bowls are just as gorgeous as they were delicious!

I mixed mine all together and enjoyed this yummy lunch as I watched Friends 🙂

Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bows
Teriyaki Shrimp Rice Bowls can be made in a skillet or Blackstone indoor E-series griddle, just a few simple ingredients for an easy meal!
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- kosher salt, pepper, Blackstone Sweet Teriyaki seasoning blend (optional)
- cooking oil of choice
- 2 (8-ounce) microwave pouches Jasmine rice (I used Ben's Ready Rice)
- 1 large avocado sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 lime wedges
- Sauce of choice: yum yum sauce, sriracha, spicy mayo, more teriyaki sauce
Instructions
-
Pat the shrimp dry and put them in a bowl with the teriyaki sauce, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and Sweet Teriyaki seasoning (if using). Toss until combined and let marinate 5 to 10 minutes.
-
Preheat your skillet or Blackstone griddle (I used my indoor Blackstone) to medium heat (400 degrees for indoor griddle). Add cooking oil of choice and the shrimp with marinade.
-
Cook the shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes, mixing a few times. Microwave the rice pouches, or if using a griddle simply add the uncooked rice to the griddle with some water and cook the same time as the shrimp, breaking apart the rice with spatulas and adding more water if needed.
-
Serve with rice in a bowl topped with shrimp, avocado, cilantro, lime wedges, and sauce of choice such as yum yum sauce, sriracha, spicy mayo, and/or more teriyaki sauce.
