Smoked Peach and Burrata Crostini
Smoked Peach and Burrata Crostini is one of my fancier and more elegant appetizer recipes, but they truly are SOOOO simple to prepare.
I mean, yeah, they do take some time for the peaches to soak up all that smoky flavor on your Traeger pellet grill or smoker.
But actually making them is a cinch.
They have a showstopping presentation, so be prepared for allllll the compliments as you proudly serve them.
How to make Smoked Peach and Burrata Crostini
First slice 3 peaches.
They turn out best if the peaches are ripe, yet still a little firm.
I couldn’t resist and had to snack on a few… summer fresh peaches are one way to my heart 🙂
Put the peaches on a baking sheet and onto the smoker or pellet grill set to 200 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.
While the peaches are getting their smoke on… slice a loaf of French bread into about 18 to 22 slices.
Place them on a baking sheet, brush each with olive oil, and season with kosher salt and pepper.
Then pop them into a 400 degree oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
Once the peaches are done on the smoker, let them cool slightly.
And assemble the crostini by tearing apart the burrata cheese, top each with the burrata and a peach slice or two.
Then a sprinkle of kosher salt and pepper.
Finally a drizzle of balsamic glaze and garnish with arugula or basil.
Smoked Peach and Burrata Crostini, I promise, are just as tasty as they look 🙂
You can prepare these an hour before serving and they will hold up just fine.
