Chili Cheese Dog Bites
This fun Chili Cheese Dog Bites recipe was inspired by my serious love of Skyline cheese coneys đŸ™‚
I am from the Cincinnati area and we LOVE our Skyline chili!
A cheese coney is one of my favorite go-tos when we go there.
And this recipe is toddler approved by my grandson…he could not get enough of them.
You’ll need a roll of crescent rolls, hot dogs, shredded cheese, and a can of chili.
Any brand of chili will work, and you could even use leftover homemade chili.
Around here we love our Skyline chili, so I went with a can of it.
How to Make Chili Cheese Dog Bites
First lay the crescent rolls flat.
Then kind of pinch the seams a little to keep them together.
Or if you can find the roll of crescent rolls that isn’t separated use that.
Then use a pizza cutter to cut into 12 pieces.
The pizza cutter makes this job a breeze.
Spray a muffin tin with non stick cooking spray and put the crescent roll pieces in the muffin tin.
Pinch the edges together to form little cups.
Cut three of the hot dogs into fourths.
And place a hot dog in each of the crescent roll cups.
A spoonful of chili goes on top of the hot dogs.
Finally top with some shredded cheddar cheese!
Baking the Chili Cheese Dog Bites
These will bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Chili Cheese Dog Bites come out golden brown and bubbly and everyone loved them so much!
This was actually our lunch, but they could be served as dinner with a salad on the side.
Or obviously would be a fabulous game day snack!
