Roasted Balsamic Parmesan Asparagus
Roasted Balsamic Parmesan Asparagus is a side dish recipe that’s easy to throw together, but also has a unique flair as far as side dishes go.
I think the ingredient that takes this from boring to exciting is balsamic glaze.
We use it often and it’s very easy to find in the vinegar section of most large grocery stores or online.
Also let’s give some credit to the freshly shaved parmesan!
It is both melted over top of the asparagus and sprinkled with extra while serving.

How to make Roasted Balsamic Parmesan Asparagus
First trim the bottom inch or two from a pound of asparagus.
Then lay them flat on a baking sheet and add a tablespoon of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Roll them around on the tray and toss them together with your hands until the asparagus are evenly coated.

Place the asparagus in a 425 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
And sprinkle some freshly shaved parmesan cheese over top during the last minute.

Roasted Balsamic Parmesan Asparagus sure is a stunning side dish in my opinion 🙂
Serve the asparagus with some balsamic glaze drizzled over top and more freshly shaved parmesan.
I feel bad for the main dish that is served with THIS side dish… so gorgeous it’s sure to steal the show.
