Hoisin Turkey Lettuce Wraps
Hoisin turkey lettuce wraps is a recipe that packs quite the punch of flavor with very few ingredients.
Even though this is a fairly healthy dinner, it’s pretty awesome because it certainly does not have that healthy dinner feel.
Crisp and refreshing lettuce wraps filled with a tasty ground turkey mixture and topped with sriracha mayo.

How to make hoisin turkey lettuce wraps
First set a skillet over medium heat and add some olive oil.
Then in goes a diced onion and some shredded carrots along with kosher salt and pepper.
This will cook for 3 to 4 minutes stirring occasionally.
Next add in some minced garlic and a pound of ground turkey.
Cook this for 3 to 4 minutes breaking apart the turkey in the skillet.
Next comes the magical ingredient of hoisin sauce!
Why am I calling it magical you might ask!?
Well, because with one simple store bought sauce, plain old ground turkey is transformed into something extraordinary!
It adds that little extra somethin’ somethin’ that makes you go hmmmm 😉
Just about 1/2 cup of hoisin sauce and a tablespoon of soy sauce goes in last.
Let this cook for another 3 to 4 minutes and we are almost ready for dinner.
This turkey mixture looks pretty spectacular if you ask me!
Let it come to room temperature before serving so we do not wilt the lettuce wraps.
I am using Boston lettuce for these wraps.
Simply separate them and fill with the turkey goodness.
Top hoisin turkey lettuce wraps with sriracha mayo and sesame seeds for the perfect bite each and every time!
I also added a little cilantro to add even more freshness to the dish.

Hoisin Turkey Lettuce Wraps are an easy and healthy meal, a one pan recipe with flavorful turkey topped with sriracha Mayo!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 3/4 cup shredded carrots
- kosher salt, pepper
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 bunch Boston lettuce separated into lettuce wraps
- Toppings: sriracha mayo, sesame seeds
Instructions

Set a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil, diced onion, shredded carrots, kosher salt, and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 minutes stirring a few times.

Add the garlic and ground turkey. Cook 3 to 4 minutes stirring a few times and breaking apart the turkey as it cooks.

Add the hoisin sauce and soy sauce, cook 3 to 4 more minutes stirring a few times.

Let the turkey mixture come to room temperature. Then fill the lettuce wraps with the turkey and top with sriracha mayo and sesame seeds.
