Traeger Smoked Salmon Flatbreads
I made these Traeger smoked salmon flatbreads along with my grandson on our Gigi day!
Gigi day is what my sweet grandson calls our day together where I take care of him while his mommy works.
He’s always loved to cook with me so we thought we would make a special dinner recipe for my daughter together each week on Gigi day.
She loves smoked salmon so we went with these delicious flatbreads.
How to make Traeger smoked salmon flatbreads
We kept things nice and simple by using store bought smoked salmon and precooked naan flatbreads.
First, spread the whipped cream cheese over each of the flatbreads, two flatbreads come in each package.
I went with the whipped cream cheese because it’s easier to spread.
Next sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, pieces of the smoked salmon, and either fresh or dried dill.
You really can’t even tell that this was assembled by a 2 1/2 year old, am I right?!
Just look at the sweet look on his face how proud he was for making his mommy dinner!
Next stop is the Traeger pellet grill or you could bake these in the oven.
If cooking in the oven simply put them on a baking sheet in a 350 degree oven for 14 to 16 minutes.
If you are going with the pellet grill set it to 350 degrees and place the flatbreads directly on the grill grate for 14 to 16 minutes.
Remove the Traeger smoked salmon flatbreads when the cheese is nice and melty đŸ™‚
I like to let them cool slightly and cut into smaller pieces with a pizza cutter.
And serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over top.
