Air Fryer Ginger Garlic Green Beans
These Air Fryer Ginger Garlic Green Beans are truly a unique recipe.
When you boil green beans they get soft, but when you roast or air fry them they get a crispity crunchity deliciousness.
We ate these kind of like fries instead of with a fork.
I made a Wasabi Mayo as well to dip them in, but they were amazing on their own too.
How to Make Air Fryer Ginger Garlic Green Beans
Toss some fresh, trimmed green beans with soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste, and sesame oil.
(Seriously not kidding, that’s kinda all the prep work đŸ™‚ )
I like to use the garlic and ginger pastes rather than minced.
First of all, it’s a little easier and makes the prep time a lot less.
But mostly because it coats the green beans in garlic and ginger-y deliciousness a bit more than if you used minced.
All that’s left to do is place them in your air fryer basket in a single layer.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for about 7-8 minutes.
If you have a smaller air fryer, these will need to be done in smaller batches.
Air fryer Ginger Garlic Green Beans come out crispy, but not in the “fried” type of way. The texture is truly unique.
They also have the most amazing flavor from the ginger and garlic.
If you do serve them with the Wasabi Mayo it’s just 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2-1 tsp wasabi paste (depending on your taste).
My husband and I like the spice of wasabi so we added a little more.

Air Fryer Ginger Garlic Green Beans
Flavorful green beans crisped to perfection in the air fryer
Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans stems removed
- 1 1/2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsps garlic paste
- 1 1/2 Tbsps ginger paste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Optional Wasabi Mayo for dipping: 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2-1 tsp wasabi paste
Instructions

In a large bowl toss together the green beans, soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste, and sesame oil until evenly coated.

Place the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 7-8 minutes.

Serve immediately. If serving with the Wasabi Mayo mix together 1/2 cup mayo with 1/2- 1 tsp of wasabi paste.
