Chicken Cordon Bleu Wonton Nachos
Chicken Cordon Bleu ingredients on fried wonton nachos was a divine recipe combination.
I love making snacky type dinners on the weekends.
This one was amazing!
I usually keep shredded chicken in the fridge and use it in several recipes, so I didn’t even have to cook the chicken for this recipe.
Makes it super quick and easy to throw together.
How to Make Chicken Cordon Bleu Wonton Nachos
You could also use tortilla chips, but I LOVE fried wonton chips.
I fried wontons for just a few seconds in about an inch of vegetable oil over medium or medium low heat.
Don’t walk away, they cook in just a few seconds.
Topped them with shredded swiss cheese, shredded chicken, and ham.
Now this next part can go wrong rather quickly (as I learned the hard way).
I put it under the broiler close to the heating element just long enough to melt the cheese.
And seriously 2 minutes later my first batch was burnt to a crisp.
(Confession- I still picked at them and ate what wasn’t too burnt to eat and they were still delicious).
For my second batch I put under the broiler on low and placed the tray in the middle of the oven.
Drizzle with Maple Dijon Sauce or honey mustard and you have THIS as your snack (or in this case our Fun Friday dinner).
