This time of year most people are looking for festive holiday appetizer recipes that are easy to make, and I got ya covered with these Apple Brie Roll Ups.
They have just a few ingredients, take just minutes to make, and they are pretty elegant and fancy (well, for something wrapped in crescent roll dough 😉 ).
They are best served warm right out of the oven, so if you can bake them right before serving that would be ideal.
How to make Apple Brie Roll Ups
This is a 5 ingredient appetizer, but the ingredients have a slight WOW factor.
Brie cheese, a Honeycrisp apple, honey, fresh thyme, and a tube of crescent dough.
Slice half the container of brie cheese, about 4 ounces total, into 8 slices.
Then cut a Honeycrisp apple into 8 slices and snack on the leftovers.
And separate the triangle pieces of crescent dough and lay them flat.
First place an apple slice in the center of each piece of dough, followed by a slice of brie cheese.
Then a good drizzle of honey over top.
Finally some fresh thyme leaves and we are ready to roll them up.
After rolling place them on a lined baking sheet.
I also sprinkled more thyme leaves over top.
Bake them in a 375 degree oven for 14 to 16 minutes.
They look golden brown and delicious right from the oven!
Serve Apple Brie Roll Ups right away when they are still nice and warm 🙂
The cheese is perfectly melty, and the apples are soft, but still with a slight crisp.
