Do I have your attention with Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders?!?!
I sure hope I do!
These suckers had the kids begging for seconds and thirds at dinner last night 🙂
Like literally a chicken tender that you eat with your hands…but wrapped in BACON!
I set out a variety of dipping sauces like Ranch and BBQ, but the favorite was yum yum sauce.
How to Make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders
Really all you need are three ingredients…bacon and your seasoning blend of choice, along with the chicken breasts.
I went with this Chupacabra Rub, which I use on almost everything.
You could use any BBQ seasoning, poultry or all purpose seasoning, or even Old Bay.
Cut 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts into thinner chicken tenders.
I got about three or four out of each chicken breast.
Then season all sides with your seasoning blend of choice.
Wrap each piece of chicken with one or one and a half slices bacon, overlapping slightly.
Most pieces of chicken were fine with one piece of bacon, the longer ones needed that extra half slice.
Next, sprinkle the bacon with more of your seasoning blend of choice and place them in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer for 12 minutes at 400 degrees for the first half of cooking.
This is what you’ll see after 12 minutes.
Flip them over, I used tongs, and cook for 12 more minutes.
So crispy…so golden brown delicious… and SOOOOO smelling like absolute heaven!
Let them cool for a bit before serving.
Oh my word, it was SO difficult to wait before digging in 😉
Serve Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders with whatever dipping sauce you prefer 🙂
Everyone in my house liked different sauces.
The most popular was the yum yum sauce, and a close second was the BBQ sauce.
I can’t wait to make these again using a different seasoning blend, really the flavor possibilities are endless!
