Slices of apples covered in a sweet coating and cooked until crisp and delicious in the air fryer.
Then dipped in caramel sauce…oh, yes please!!!
Her’s how to make Air Fryer Apple Fries
To start, mix 1/2 cup flour with 1/4 cup brown sugar in a bowl.
And in another bowl beat one egg.
Then cut one large Honeycrisp apple into half inch wedges, and cut the skin off of each wedge.
Really you could use any type of apple, I just really love Honeycrisp apples.
Before breading these, spray the air fryer basket with non stick cooking spray.
I like to set up my breading station right next to the air fryer basket.
Less mess and much easier.
To bread these apple fries put an apple wedge into the flour sugar mixture, then into the egg, and back into the flour sugar mixture.
Place each one right into the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes.
No need to flip or anything.
Can you believe how amazing these look?!
And let me tell ya…they taste even better!
Use tongs to carefully remove from the air fryer.
And serve these Air Fryer Apple Fries with warm caramel dipping sauce.
