Batman Birthday Party Ideas

For my son’s 5th birthday he wanted to be Batman. Once realizing he could not actually BE Batman, he was at least happy with a Batman themed party full of Batman Birthday Party Ideas.

Here’s my best advice for planning a party…do NOT over-do it!

Plan some food you can make ahead of time, buy some of the food at the store pre-made, or order some things pre-made from a restaurant.

You want to enjoy the party, not spend all your time in the kitchen.

One thing we like to do is name the food around the theme.

I make cute, simple signs for the food and everyone seems to enjoy reading them.

Here’s what we came up with for Batman birthday party ideas…

Bugles in a bowl by themselves, not impressive. BUT…Bugles in a bowl with a cute name like Catwoman Claws is awesome!

We ordered chicken wings (boneless and bone in) from our favorite place and named them Bat Wings.

Poison Ivy Pasta Salad!

I did make this the night before, a very easy pasta salad recipe.

It is a pound of cooked pasta of choice, shredded carrots, raw broccoli florets, grape tomatoes cut in half, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing.

Dynamic Duo Dip…just any two dips with your favorite crackers or chips.

I bought these from the deli at the grocery store but you could make your own too.

This one was probably my favorite name, Deviled Robin’s Eggs đŸ™‚

I did make these the day before. For an adult twist, try Bacon Jalapeno Deviled Eggs!

A little Joker Juice for a drink was simply green Kool-Aid with grape juice made into ice cubes (colors of the Joker)

I always try to have something else sweet in addition to the cake.

We made Two Face Pretzels by dipping one half of a pretzel in melted chocolate.

Once hardened I dipped the other half in melted butterscotch chips.

I usually order cakes, but I found these Batman symbols to put on cupcakes on Amazon and I couldn’t resist.

I made chocolate cupcakes from a mix and they were easy to use.
