Thanksgiving Dinner Griddle Recipe

If you are looking for a holiday-ish meal on the Blackstone or flat top grill, might I suggest this Thanksgiving Dinner Griddle recipe?!

I don’t know that I’d serve this as THE Thanksgiving dinner, but it’s a fun mini version if you’re in the mood for a good fall themed dinner.

It has all the components of Thanksgiving in some form… turkey, green beans, potatoes, and even cranberries.

This would be a fun pre-game “Friendsgiving” meal and great for camping around the holidays!

How to make Thanksgiving Dinner Griddle Recipe

See… we have all the Thanksgiving-ish ingredients, even the sage and thyme 🙂

These turkey tenderloins have so much flavor and are very tender and juicy.

ingredients for the dinner

First prepare all the ingredients and put them on a tray to easily carry out to the griddle.

prepped ingredients on a tray

Preheat your Blackstone griddle or flat top grill to medium heat for a few minutes.

Then add some cooking oil, I used olive oil, and the diced potatoes, kosher salt, and pepper.

Cover with a melting dome and add some water to steam them.

Cook 5 to 6 minutes, removing the dome a few times to toss them around.

Then cover again and add more water.

Next add more cooking oil and the green beans, diced turkey, onions, and more kosher salt and pepper.

Cook this, mixing together with hibachi spatulas, for 8 to 9 minutes.

Finally add some butter, dried sage and thyme, and dried cranberries.

Cook another minute and taste for seasoning.

Add more kosher salt and pepper if needed.

Ingredients

  • cooking oil of choice
  • 1 pound redskin potatoes diced
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound fresh green beans ends trimmed
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 1/2 pounds turkey breast tenderloins (I used Honeysuckle White Rotisserie flavor) cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: stuffing, crescent rolls, turkey gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add some cooking oil (I used olive oil) and the diced potatoes, season them with kosher salt and pepper.

  2. Cook the potatoes on the griddle for 5 to 6 minutes, cover them with a melting dome as they cook, add some water under the dome to steam them. Flip them a few times with hibachi spatulas and add more water a few times.

Note: If you don't have a melting dome, a foil pan works. Just be careful touching it as it will be hot.

  3. Remove the melting dome and add more cooking oil, the green beans, onions, and turkey and season with more kosher salt and pepper. Cook on the griddle, mixing together with the potatoes for 8 to 9 more minutes, flipping together a few times.

  4. Add the dried cranberries, dried sage, thyme, and butter. Cook 1 more minute, mixing together as the butter melts. Season with more kosher salt and pepper if needed.

  5. Serve with stuffing, crescent rolls, and/or turkey gravy if desired.
