A buttery lemon garlic sauce?

Check!

And lots of jumbo shrimp all smoked to perfection?

You got it…check!

I have smoked shrimp before, but this is my first time adding pasta to the party.

And let me tell ya, it’s absolutely fabulous!

Here’s how to make Smoked Shrimp Scampi Pasta

Step one is smoking the shrimp.

You could use a foil pan or a cast iron skillet, which is what I used.

Add some melted butter, fresh garlic, fresh parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to the pan.

Then add two pounds of jumbo shrimp that is peeled and deveined.

Toss until evenly mixed.

And place on a smoker that is set to 250 degrees.

It will smoke for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Toss it a few times throughout.

This may look like a ton of butter, but the pasta will soak up all the yummy lemon garlic butter as the sauce for this dish.

Toward the end of smoking the shrimp, I boiled a pound of angel hair pasta.

Drain the pasta really well and add it in with the shrimp right on the smoker.

Toss the pasta until it’s all evenly combined with the shrimp and the butter.

And let it smoke for another 15 minutes.
