Ingredients
Steak Salad
  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron or flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 8 ounces spring mix lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half
Ginger Lime Dressing
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
Instructions
Steak Salad
  1. Put the steak in a gallon size plastic bag. Add soy sauce, ginger paste, garlic paste, and honey. Massage the bag until evenly coated. Place in the fridge to marinate overnight, or at least several hours.

  2. Preheat your grill or Blackstone griddle to medium high heat. Cook steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare/ medium doneness. Add cooking oil first if using your griddle.

  3. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  4. Divide the lettuce, carrots and tomatoes evenly between 4 plates or containers. Slice the steak against the grain and divide evenly on the salads. Serve with Ginger Lime Dressing.

Ginger Lime Dressing
  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and whisk, or into a mason jar and shake until evenly combined.
