Ingredients
  • cooking oil of choice
  • 8 hot dogs diced
  • chili powder
  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Skyline chili (or leftover homemade chili)
  • 2 cups mild shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: diced onions, yellow mustard, hot sauce
  • tortilla chips or Fritos Scoops for dipping
Instructions
  1. Preheat a large cast iron skillet (or large oven safe skillet) to medium. Add cooking oil of choice and the diced hot dogs. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, mixing a few times.

  2. To the skillet add some chili powder, the cream cheese block, Skyline chili, most of the cheese, and diced onions, yellow mustard, and/or hot sauce if using.

  3. Do not stir just yet. Place this in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. Stir together and add remaining cheese over top. Leave in the oven until cheese is melted.

  4. Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos Scoops for dipping.
