Root Beer Float Pie is a light and refreshing cool summer dessert recipe with only 5 ingredients, so easy and delicious!

Ingredients
  • 1 8 ounce container Cool Whip thawed
  • 1 3.4 ounce box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 12 ounce can or bottle root beer for a boozy version use a hard root beer
  • 1 10 inch graham cracker pie crust
  • whipped cream for the topping
Instructions
  1. Put the Cool Whip, vanilla pudding mix, and root beer in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat this together for about 2 minutes.

  2. Pour the pie filling into the pie crust. Cover and refrigerate for at least 7 hours.

    Note: If not set after 7 hours, or if you want it very cold/ slightly frozen move it to the freezer about 45 minutes before serving.

  3. Decorate the top with whipped cream right before serving.
