Philly Cheesesteak Casserole is a comfort food dinner recipe with cheesy goodness and all the yumminess of a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich!
Set a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, kosher salt, pepper, and steak seasoning. Cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring a few times.
Add the steak, garlic, Worcestershire, and more kosher salt, pepper, and steak seasoning. Cook 3 to 4 minutes and let this cool slightly.
If the skillet is big enough, add the mushroom soup, sour cream, and shredded mozzarella and stir together (or transfer everything to a bigger bowl to mix together). Put this into a 9x13 casserole dish.
Put the crackers in a gallon size plastic bag and crush them (I used a rolling pin). Pour the melted butter in the bag and shake until evenly coated. Put the crackers in an even layer over the casserole.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
