Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped, fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pound side of salmon
  • 1 pound asparagus trim the bottom inch or two
  • For serving: lemon wedges, more fresh dill
Instructions
  1. Put the butter, garlic, dill, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Set the saucepan on the stove over medium heat, cook 5 minutes stirring a few times.

  2. Put the salmon fillet and asparagus on a sheet pan (I lined mine with parchment paper). Spoon the lemon dill sauce over the salmon and asparagus, toss the asparagus with tongs to evenly distribute the sauce.

  3. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over top and more dill sprinkled over top.
