Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron steak or flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for spice
Instructions
  1. Place the steak in a gallon size plastic bag. Add the soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste, honey, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Massage the bag until evenly combined. Marinate in the fridge overnight or at least several hours.

  2. Preheat your grill or Blackstone griddle to medium to medium high heat. Cook steak for 3-5 minutes per side for medium rare/ medium doneness, depending on how thick the steak is. Add oil first of using a griddle.

  3. Let it rest at room temperature for 10 minutes. Slice the steak against the grain and serve.
