An elegant and easy party appetizer that's sure to be a hit

Ingredients
  • 1 french baguette
  • olive oil, kosher salt, pepper
  • 4-6 oz spreadable goat cheese (not goat cheese crumbles)
  • 4-6 oz onion jam (or fig jam)
  • 8 slices prosciutto (torn in smaller pieces)
  • Optional: fresh thyme leaves
Instructions

  1. Slice the french baguette into 16 pieces. Place each bread slice on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper.

  2. Place in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.

  3. Once they have cooled slightly spread each crostini with goat cheese, onion jam, and place a few pieces of prosciutto.

  4. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired.
