Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 (12-pack) slider buns of choice sliced to separate top and bottom buns
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 eggs
  • kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese of choice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat your outdoor griddle or skillet indoors to medium-low heat, if using an indoor griddle preheat to 400 degrees.

  2. Add butter and once melted place the slider buns cut side down to toast. If using a skillet you may need to cut them and do this in separate batches.

  3. Once toasted, remove and set aside. Add the sausage and cook 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it apart with spatulas as it cooks.

  4. While sausage is cooking, crack the eggs into a bowl, add kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend if using. Beat with a fork.

  5. Once sausage is no longer pink, pour eggs over top and use spatulas to scramble and cook them together with sausage for 2 to 3 minutes.

  6. Add cheese, maple syrup, and hot sauce. Cook 1 more minute and mix together. Serve on slider rolls.
