Ingredients
Blackened Catfish
  • 4 catfish fillets
  • 1 tablespoon blackened/ cajun seasoning (I used Emeril's)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Old Bay Aioli
  • 1/2 cup mayo or light mayo
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
Blackened Catfish
  1. Pat the catfish dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the blackened/ cajun seasoning on both sides of the fish.

  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet or your Blackstone griddle over medium high heat for several minutes. Add the butter and olive oil, once melted add the catfish.

  3. Cook 3-4 minutes per side. Serve with the Old Bay Aioli. 

Old Bay Aioli
  1. Whisk ingredients together in a bowl. Start with 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning and add more according to your taste. Serve with the Blackened Catfish.
