Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Japanese BBQ sauce (plus more to drizzle over top)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons sriracha
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic finely minced
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • Optional: sesame seeds, cilantro, more sriracha
  • 1/3 cup yum yum sauce
Instructions
  1. Put the chicken bites in a gallon size plastic bag. Add the Japanese BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, kosher salt, and pepper. Massage the bag until combined and marinate in the fridge for a few hours if possible.

  2. Put the seasoned chicken bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes. Drizzle more of the Japanese BBQ sauce over top halfway through cooking.

  3. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro if desired and serve with the yum yum sauce for dipping and more sriracha if desired.
