Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps Caribbean Jerk seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
  • 2 apples (I used Honeycrisp)
  • vegetable oil (or cooking oil of choice)
  • 4 slices gouda cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings of choice: lettuce, BBQ sauce, or any other topping you prefer
Instructions
  1. Put the ground pork in a bowl with 1 Tbsp of the Caribbean Jerk seasoning, soy sauce, and garlic. Use your hands to mix this together and form 4 burger patties.

  2. Slice the apples and toss them with the remaining 1/2 Tbsp Caribbean Jerk seasoning.

  3. Preheat the Blackstone griddle or large skillet to medium heat. Add some cooking oil and add the burger patties.

  4. Cook the pork burgers for 4 to 5 minutes per side. Add more cooking oil and the sliced apples after flipping the burgers the first time.

  5. During the last minute top each burger with the cooked apple slices and a slice of gouda cheese.

  6. Serve the burgers on the burger buns and add toppings of choice such as lettuce and BBQ sauce.
