Ingredients
  • 4 Tbsps melted butter
  • 1/4 cup creole mustard
  • 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 4 to 8 dashes tabasco sauce (depending on spice preference)
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 1 pound salmon cut into 2 or 3 fillets
Instructions
  1. Put the butter, creole mustard, cajun seasoning, tabasco sauce, kosher salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk until evenly combined. Remove half of the sauce to another container for a dipping sauce.

  2. Trim the bottom inch or two off of the asparagus. Brush half of the cajun sauce on all sides of the asparagus and salmon. Save the rest for dipping.

  3. Place the salmon and asparagus on a lined baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn the broiler on high during the last 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Serve the salmon and asparagus with the cajun dipping sauce that was set aside earlier.
