Ingredients
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 celery stalks diced
  • 2 carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 Tbsps Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 2 10.5 oz cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 14 oz cans chicken broth
  • 5 jumbo size biscuits (I got the tube of 8 jumbo biscuits, but only used 5) raw/ before cooking
  • 1 cup frozen peas
Instructions
  1. Put the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Add the diced onion, celery, carrots, Old Bay, thyme, kosher salt, pepper, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.

  2. Turn the slow cooker on low for 6 hours. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks.

  3. Roll each biscuit slightly flat and cut each biscuit into smaller pieces (I used a pizza cutter).

    Add the biscuit pieces and the frozen peas to the slow cooker. Turn the slow cooker to high and cook 1 more hour, stirring a few times.

  4. Taste for seasoning and add more kosher salt, pepper, and/or Old Bay if needed.
