Ingredients
  • 1 pound maple breakfast sausage
  • 8 King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese of choice (I used cheddar)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
  • Optional: extra maple syrup and hot sauce
Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage for 5 to 8 minutes until fully cooked.

  2. Cut the King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls into cubes. Place into a greased/ buttered 9×13 baking dish. Place in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes, tossing halfway through.

  3. Add the cooked sausage and cheese to the dish with the lightly toasted rolls and toss together until evenly combined.

  4. In a bowl beat together the eggs, milk, and maple syrup. Pour over top the bread, sausage and cheese. Using the back of a fork, press the rolls down into the egg mixture.

  5. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with extra maple syrup and/or hot sauce on the side if desired.
