  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
Hibachi Fried Rice
  • 2 Tbsps sesame oil
  • 6 cups cooked Jasmine rice cooled
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 12 oz bag frozen peas and carrots thawed
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • kosher salt, pepper
Shrimp
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Yum Yum Sauce
  1. Add the mayo, ketchup, sugar, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl and whisk until evenly mixed.

Hibachi Fried Rice
  1. Heat the flat top griddle or hibachi grill to medium high heat for at least 5 minutes.

  2. Add the sesame oil and spread with hibachi spatula, add the rice, onion, and beaten eggs. Cook 2 minutes and mix together with hibachi spatulas.

  3. Add the peas and carrots and cook 1 minute, mixing those together with the rice.

  4. Add the soy sauce, butter, garlic, sesame seeds, and a small amount of kosher salt and pepper. Mix together and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping the rice over occasionally.

Shrimp
  1. When the rice is almost done, move it to the side to make room for the shrimp. Add the sesame oil directly on the flat top and add the shrimp, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Cook 3 minutes and mix the shrimp together with the rice.

Serve the shrimp and fried rice with the Yum Yum Sauce.
