Pizza Pretzel Sticks are made super easy by using store bought pizza crust, stuffed with cheese and pepperoni, and served with pizza sauce for dipping!
Lay the pizza dough flat, roll it out slightly, and cut each pizza dough crust into 8 equal rectangles.
Cut the block of mozzarella cheese into 16 equal size cheese sticks (pictures in post above)
Place 3 pieces of pepperoni and a cheese stick in the center of each pizza dough rectangle.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Fold the dough over the pepperoni and cheese filling and pinch closed, trying not to stretch the dough too much.
Bring 8 cups of water to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and stir in the baking soda.
Place a pizza pretzel on a fork (not poking through the dough, just on top, pictures in post above) and gently dip it in the simmer water for 5 seconds. Lift it out of the water and place on a lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pizza pretzels.
Beat the egg in a bowl and brush the tops of each with the egg and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes.
