Sweet and Spicy Peanut Chicken Wings can be baked or smoked, they have a very simple and easy sauce with only three ingredients!
Pat the wings dry with paper towels, place them in a large bowl. Add the olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes and toss until evenly mixed.
In a small bowl whisk together the peanut sauce, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha. Set aside.
Smoke or bake the chicken wings:
In the smoker: Place the chicken wings in a smoker set to 250 degrees for two and a half hours. Flip them halfway through. Brush with sweet and spicy peanut sauce during the last half hour of cooking. Check the internal temp to make sure they are at 170 degrees before serving.
In the oven: Place wings on a lined baking sheet and put in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes, flip them halfway through. Brush with sweet and spicy peanut sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
Serve with remaining sweet and spicy peanut sauce and garnish with cilantro and/or crushed peanuts if desired.
