Hoisin Peanut Grilled Chicken
Hoisin Peanut Grilled Chicken may seem like a recipe with a hundred ingredients, but really there’s only FIVE!
That’s thanks to my work smarter, not harder motto.
I mixed together some store bought sauces and added some garlic… BOOM… big smack of incredible flavor in only a few minutes.
How to Make Hoisin Peanut Grilled Chicken
The sauces I picked to mix together for the chicken marinade are sriracha, hoisin sauce, and peanut sauce.
All three can be easily found in the Asian section of most grocery stores.
You could use minced garlic, but I am using garlic paste to keep with my quick and easy theme.
Trim the extra fat off of 4 to 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs.
And put them in a gallon size plastic bag along with 1/4 cup each of the hoisin and peanut sauces, and 1 tablespoon each of the sriracha and garlic.
Also some kosher salt and pepper too.
Massage the bag until the chicken is evenly coated and marinate in the fridge overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat the grill to medium high.
And grill these guys for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
I love a good charred grill mark action, so I move them to the hottest part of my grill after flipping them.
My kids used to call this “burnt” but now that they are a little older they know it’s extra yumminess and free flavor đŸ˜‰
Serve Hoisin Peanut Grilled Chicken with some cilantro and crushed peanuts over top if desired đŸ™‚
Also more of the hoisin and peanut sauces for dipping is highly recommended.
We just mixed ours together.
This would be really tasty with some rice with the chicken and extra sauce all mixed together!
