Ingredients
  • 4 full size, cooked sausage links of choice (Polish sausage, chicken & apple sausage, spinach & gouda, etc.)
  • 1 apple thinly sliced (you will have some apple slices leftover)
  • 1 (8-count) tube crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • fresh or dried thyme
Instructions
  1. Cut the sausages in half. Roll each sausage half and a slice of apple in each crescent roll and place on a lined baking sheet.

  2. Mix together the butter, Dijon mustard, syrup, and thyme. Brush over each pigs in a blanket.

  3. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 16 to 18 minutes.

Note: I did not think a dipping sauce was needed, but you could mix more Dijon and maple syrup together for an optional dipping sauce.
