Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets (approx. 5 oz per piece)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger paste or fresh grated ginger
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons wasabi sauce (more or less according to taste, 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons wasabi powder could be substituted if you don't have wasabi sauce)
Instructions
  1. In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, and wasabi sauce. Divide this mixture in half. Brush half over top of the salmon fillets before cooking and again halfway through cooking, set aside the other half.

  2. Cook according to one of these methods:

Oven: Place salmon on lined baking sheet, place the baking sheet into a 425 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. If you want the top charred, turn broiler on high on for the last minute or two.

Air Fryer: Place salmon in air fryer basket. Set air fryer to 390 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Blackstone griddle: Preheat griddle to medium, Add cooking oil of choice and the salmon. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. Serve with remaining ginger wasabi sauce on the side for dipping.
