Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15-ounce) jar alfredo sauce
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • kosher salt, pepper, Italian seasoning blend, crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 pound pasta of choice (we used bow tie pasta) boiled and drained according to package directions
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
  1. Put the chicken, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) into your slow cooker. Stir until combined, set slow cooker to low for 6 to 8 hours.

  2. Use two forks to shred and break apart the chicken right in the slow cooker. Add the cooked pasta and 1 cup of the cheese. Stir until combined. Taste for seasoning and add more kosher salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and/or crushed red pepper flakes if needed.

  3. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Close lid and cook 15 minutes in the slow cooker on low. Garnish with parsley if desired.
