Ingredients
  • 3 cups diced bread (French baguette, Italian loaf, or ciabatta)
  • olive oil
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs of choice (or 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning)
  • kosher salt, pepper
Instructions
  1. Put the diced bread in a large bowl. Add a few tablespoons of olive oil, the garlic or garlic powder, herbs or Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

  2. Toss until evenly combined and add more olive oil if needed.

  3. Put the bread cubes in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees for 7 to 11 minutes, depending on the size of your bread and if you want them very crunchy or still slightly soft in the center.

  4. Let the croutons cool slightly and add to salads. Store leftovers in a sealed plastic bag for a few days at room temperature.
