Ingredients
  • 1 pound lobster tails (about 3 to 4 tails)
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • kosher salt, pepper, Old Bay (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • non stick cooking spray (I used avocado oil spray)
  • Optional: chives or parsley for garnish, lemon wedges, ranch for dipping
Instructions
  1. Remove the lobster shells and cut the lobster into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces.

  2. In a small bowl whisk together the mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the Bang Bang Sauce.

  3. Put the flour in a small bowl and season with kosher salt, pepper, and Old Bay if using. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.

  4. Spray the air fryer basket with non stick spray. Dip each lobster piece in the egg and then coat with the seasoned flour. Place the lobster in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the cooking spray over top.

  5. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, shake the basket halfway through cooking.

  6. Remove the lobster from the basket and toss it in a bowl with some of the bang bang sauce. Serve with any remaining bang bang sauce on the side and garnish with chives or parsley if desired, also with lemon wedges to squeeze over top and ranch for dipping.
